Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) is a perennial herb known for its distinctive sting caused by tiny hairs on its leaves and stems. This hardy plant thrives in moist, nutrient-rich soil and can reach heights of 3-7 feet. Despite its sting, nettle is valued for its medicinal and culinary uses. Rich in vitamins A, C, K, and minerals like iron and calcium, it is often used in teas, soups, and herbal remedies. Harvesting requires gloves to avoid irritation. Nettle supports biodiversity, serving as a habitat for butterflies and other insects, and its fibers can be used to make textiles.
Amazing germination rate. Plants are strong and healthy
Research showed this herb spreads easily, so I grew it in a container. Germination was great and the more I picked the more it grew. No dehydrator needed. The leaves dried quickly on a paper plate. Plant slowed down and started looking unhappy when the weather warmed up. Preferred mixing tea with chamomile for a better taste. Overall a good pick for those who like organic herbs/medicine/teas.
They all seemed to have sprouted. I am hoping to get a good bit of nettle this year! All my other seeds are doing great as well!
Great seeds, great price, quick germination and fast delivery
Super excited to plant this for the medicine cabinet!

I grew only a few seeds, but they came up fine, and I was able to get some delicious, sweet melon! I sprayed it once with a copper fungicide, and I should have done it a second time, but I still go melons. (I have a struggle with fungal problems here). Easy to grow, easy to eat!
This stuff feed my garden all summer. Highly recommend
This was one of my first tomatoes from MIgardener seed and I loved it so much. Very tasty green tomato, and even though it was only in a smallish container, it was one of my best producers! Nice clusters (not quite so big and dense as the photo, for me at least...) and great flavor for eating fresh in the garden. I'm not the best with tomatoes, I don't treat them as well as I should, and I grow in Seattle (8b?) which is finicky weather every year, so I was surprised these did so well! Will definitely grow again. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures saved on the vine, but the little green one in the attached photo is one of them!
Love sales. Time to stock up
Pollinators love this flower. Especially honey bees.
They grew in spring then reseeded themselves for fall.
