Beautiful green streaks add character with a flavor that is a bit softer than a traditional eggplant. This variety is soft and buttery when cooked or fried. The seeds are smaller and less noticeable which gives this variety a desirable texture for cooking. The richest flavored eggplant variety in the world.

Easily germinated. Created tiny seedlings I thought would keel over within a day. I planted them in a sunny area, and wished them 'Bon Voyage'. I had a ton of orange-size eggplants throughout the summer/fall until the first freeze. The taste is slightly different than other eggplants, with more seeds. These are better as an interesting addition to your other eggplants, rather than 'instead of'.
Grew these last year, so I bought more seeds! they were awesome, very prolific and tasted great!!
I started them early....did waterjug winter seed starts .. they did very well....grew up to be nice sturdy plants, bearing lots of fruit! Thank You!!

We planted several of your beans and found the pinto bean being our favorite and most used, not that we don't also like the other beans. I had never grown beans before and had no idea of how easy and low maintenance they require. We plan to triple the amount at our next planting.
