Bush Variety - The Strike bush bean is a productive and resilient variety known for its tender, stringless pods and excellent flavor. These beans grow on compact, bushy plants. The uniform, dark green pods are typically 5-6 inches long and are perfect for fresh eating, canning, and freezing. Strike bush beans thrive in well-drained soil and full sun, requiring minimal maintenance. They are resistant to common bean diseases, making them a reliable choice for home gardeners and commercial growers alike.
Picked these up for some late season planting. First time trying these.
Struggling
I had purchased several packets of the Strike Bush Bean for our school garden. They grew so well the students ended up picking them right off the plant and eating them. Delicious! I had one packet left over so I planted them in my home garden, after a failed attempt(spotty germination) from using a big box store packet of bean seeds. Every bean seed in the MIGardener packet germinated and is now on its way to a healthy bean plant.
After the deer ate 7 rows of my bean plants, I replanted just 1 pack of Strike beans in a raised bed. The germination was rapid and at a good percentage. The plants are thriving thus far.
First time trying these beans, can't wait to try them.

I grew this pepper plant in a 20 gallon pot and it did very well. It produced dozens of small peppers that were spicy—hotter than your standard jalapeno. I put about 3 of these in my salsa to spice it up along with 5-7 whole jalapeños (I roast them which takes out a portion of the yea). This little plant produced so many peppers that I froze a gallon bag of them to use in recipes throughout the year.
I am loving this squash! It grows so long and has beautiful leaves. I grow it upward and loves it! I have harvested at least 3-4 on one plant already. The remainder of the blooms are male, and I am not sure if I will have any more. :( I have, however, planted more in the mean time hoping I will harvest as many as this one. I will definately grow more!. Thank you!
All is well and great service...
So far, everything we have purchased has had an almost 100% germination rate. And what sprouts has grown quickly and strongly. We are now big fans of MIgardener seeds!
I’ve had issues trying to germinate seeds bought from big box stores. Come to find out they are old and a waste of money. MI Gardener seeds are fresh, germinate quickly and stay good for years. My Pablo lettuce is still growing and I look forward to harvesting and eating it!
