A prolific producer. This Italian heirloom bears a distinct pattern and nutty flavor. Plants produce smaller zucchini than other varieties but it makes up for size in yields. Perfect for the small space gardener. The plant is also more tolerant to disease and will last later into the season than most other varieties. Wonderful sauteed or roasted.

Very Productive

By far the most productive zucchini I've ever grown. Produced from July until the beginning of October here in zone 5b. Grew a bit vine-ier than other varieties I've grown, so give it some extra space.

CT zone 6a

I started my zucchini seeds indoors late April and then planted outside 3rd week of May.
This plant has been growing and producing all season long with total neglect. It is planted on the outside of my chicken run so that must be why it is doing so well.
Absolutely delicious and tender.
I will be growing again next spring.

Great Growing

These started out great until the borer beetles decimated them here in zone 8b. Planting a second round now that the major push of the beetles is over.

Delicious Flavor

Zone 8a recently changed to 8b. My second year growing this variety. These are the best tasty zucchini ever. They have such a smooth and nutty flavor, so yummy. I do have a hard time getting them to germinate but this is the 2nd pack I have bought because the flavor is worth the struggle. It also definitely could be a me problem or a heat problem. They do seem to be able to still produce if you bury the infected stem, after removing the bore. They will put roots down and continue to keep producing. They did seem to be a little but more immune to powdery mildew then somemof the other varieties I have grown.

Amazing growth!

Wow! This zucchini grew very quickly and we harvested a little sooner than the maturity date. The description is right - they have a wonderful nutty and savory taste. What I've harvested so far has been pretty good size, averaging 300g/10oz. Zucchini can be easy to miss, but the striped pattern helps for spotting them. This is a beautiful variety!
