The Roma II bush bean is a popular heirloom variety known for its excellent flavor and tender texture. This vigorous, disease-resistant plant produces flat, broad, green pods that reach 5-6 inches in length. Maturing in about 55-60 days, Roma II bush beans are stringless and ideal for fresh eating, steaming, canning, and freezing. The bushy, compact plants do not need staking, making them perfect for small gardens and container planting.
Roma’s are my favorite bean. They taste great and are a beautiful bean. I have purchased from MI Gardener for several years now. I’m very happy with your seeds and I will continue to purchase all my seeds from you. I love watching you on YouTube. I’m 73 and I learn a lot by watching your videos. Thank you.
These seeds came fast and the price is right. I have planted them and they are coming up strong!! Can’t wait to be able to enjoy these beans
Germinated and grew well...until the groundhog ate them. :(
My picky daughter's favorite bean we grew this year! I just wish it was a pole variety so it would produce for a longer period of time.
Second order for the Romano beans. First did not germinate but the second germinated very well. All seeds appear to have grownbb b

These were cut on April 22nd and planted April 23, 2025. They came up on May 4th. I'm in central SD, zone 4b. Next year, I'll get more!
Hard to leave a review just planted them.. but over all I was pleased when they arrived ❤️
I wasn't sure it would survive when I planted it, but it is growing. Very happy with my purchase
I immediately set this plant outside to begin hardening off. After about 2 weeks, I planted it in it's dedicated grow bag until I get a more permanent planter, and I must say it is living life. It has grown so much since I received it. I believe I'm going to remove the blossoms this year to continue promoting healthy growth.
Love this. I collect stickers on my garden notebook for fun and inspiration and this spoke to me.
