Winter Vine - The plant produces dark green fruits, with beautiful orange sweet flesh. These squash are buttery and smooth. A great alternative to mashed sweet potatoes. Each fruit weighs about 3 to 3.5 pounds and features string-less flesh for easy preparation. These vigorous plants are prolific, typically producing 6 to 7 fruits per plant.
Great option - thanks for offering.
Our family loved trying different recipes with these little cuties. I did freeze any leftover for our winter meals. The vines and squash were a beautiful addition to our garden.
The Burgess Buttercup winter squash I purchased from MIGardener has exceeded all of my expectations. The price is very competitive and they were delivered on time. Last spring I planted just two (2) of the approximately 25 seeds in the package but harvested more than 60 squash. The "meat" of the squash is very sweet and is not "stringy" as some squash are. I've given away quite a few these squash to friends and neighbors and, to a person, all think it's the tastiest winter squash they've ever eaten. I plan to continue planting Burgess Buttercup squash into the foreseeable future. I strongly recommend this variety.
Great price and quality. Pretty fast shipping.
I started my buttercup squash seeds in my greenhouse and they were sprouting after 4 days! They are now in my garden enjoying our weather. I can't wait to harvest them.
This basil is insane!! It’s growing so fast and the leaves are as big as the palm of my hand!
Awesome color on these. Beautiful addition to the (majority pink shades) zinnias I usually grow.
I have way more celery than I have room to plant!
Planted my basil as soon as thepackets arrived!
Last year I decided to plant a "tunnel" of sunflowers on the other side of my tall blueberry bushes and these added a colorful variety to the typical yellow! These are now a favorite that will be a "grow again!"
