AnnualWinter Vine. This variety is a winter squash that will produce between 5 and 8 squash per plant. Fruits will weigh between 15-40 pounds apiece, with a beautiful deep blue color to the flesh. The skin of this variety is tough, but once you cut through it the flesh is meaty, thick, and well worth the effort. It keeps remarkably well, lasting several months and often into early spring if stored properly!

Last year I decided to plant a "tunnel" of sunflowers on the other side of my tall blueberry bushes and these added a colorful variety to the typical yellow! These are now a favorite that will be a "grow again!"
