Determinate - This 1930’s heirloom was first brought to America from Ukraine. Plants produce roughly 1lb. perfectly round tomatoes, blemish-free, and deep burgundy. The flavor of the Black Sea Man tomato is rich, filled with depth, with flavorful hints of pineapple and tropical fruit. Low on seeds and gel, making this great for all purposes. Plants are good producers all season long. MIgardener's top-selling tomato!

MIGardener seeds NEVER let me down!
Bought seed last year (2024). Planted. Never germinated under grow lights and domes. All the other varieties were up within days and very successful in the garden. Tried again this year (2025). Same desolate, empty cells while everything else is growing. Even late seeded tomatoes that didn't go under the domes broke ground. Bad batch perhaps. Too bad, they look like they taste amazing.
I'm Gerard from Lebanon Middle East I'm a small scale farmer and I'm happy I took the decision to start buying from you. This was my first choice I can't wait to plant them. I will definitely submit a full review after planting them.
These are so darn good!
I grew over 10 varieties of tomatoes this year and so far this is one of my favorites! It does have a lot of depth of flavor and fruity undertones.
Also, it grows really well here in Michigan to the point where I had so many seedlings do well I had to give some away to friends and family! I have already purchased more for next year. Would highly recommend!

We have nice fertile soil in our greenhouse and able to control those pesty little flea beetles that can decimate eggplants foliage. I've been keeping them under control with DE and my eggplants are massive in size, about 3-4 feet tall with 1 foot lower leaves.
The eggplants fruit are developing nicely, nearly doubling in size daily. There are plenty of blossoms too. We're expecting that we won't need to grow more for a few years, we're planning on freeze drying most if them.
I purchased several packs of seeds from MiGardener during the semi annual sale, and they did not disappoint! Nearly 100 percent germination rate on all seeds I've planted. The only thing I haven't been able to germinate is lemon grass, which I'm learning may 1 take a very long time to germinate in general and 2 need bottom heat to help them sprout. Even without being on sale 2 bucks a seed pack for the amount they give (very generous compared to other companies, I might add) is a crazy good deal. If you have been on the fence, I encourage you to give MiGardener seeds a try! Thank you Luke and team, and Happy Gardening to all!
I'm not a seasoned gardener, so I don't necessarily know what's normal or not, but out of all the seeds I planted (got about a dozen different herbs and greens from MIgardener), the fenugreek was the quickest to sprout, had the highest germination rate, and the largest sprouting leaves. I'm pretty excited to watch them grow into beautiful plants.
Gardening for over 40 years. The Trifecta very impressed has all the elements I want in a fertilizer. Next year I will buy the largest amount.
Second squash to produce for me. Picked young and the skin is very thin/easily bruises. Roasted first batch and they were a delicious mild flavor! Very soft but the roasting gave a nice crust on them. 2nd batch mixed in a stir fry and it overcooked very easily and was mushy. I like how prolific this plant is and the mild taste. Just need to make sure not to overcook. Well definitely grow again.
