With its distinctive oregano-like scent; it is a favorite for bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Bergamot can also be used for its essential oil properties to create captivating perfumes. The species name “punctata” means “dotted,” referring to the small purple spots on the blossoms.
my wife has them in her flower garden seeds have not germinated yet as weather keeps going from 40s to 80s
