Helichrysum bracteatum. Ideal for dried or fresh cut arrangements, this paper thin double flowered variety will hold its color indefinitely after cutting. Strong stems and flower heads that can grow up to 2" across. Rustic red with touches of burnt orange are a perfect combination together. Add a classic touch to a springtime wildflower wedding bouquet.

I thought I was going to like the purple strawflower better and I was mistaken, that's beautiful too, but, wow, the copper red is gorgeous and dries very well. Ants loved it as much as I did.
I grew this flower for the first time in 2024. I fell in love. The color was very pleasing to look at. I cut flowers to send with visitors and they were just as captivated. If you are really observant you will see them open and close. I planted some on my daughters deck and it was her most favorite plant as well.
So my Strawflower seeds germinated the following growing season after I planted but oh my goodness, the wait was worth it! This strawflower produces gorgeous color that does not fade once dried. I got so many compliments on it at our local market.
I have a few of these that survived the humid summer growing in my garden right now. They are a pretty color but don't look like the shape in the picture. Mine have larger, protruding petals that splay off to the side like a daisy or black-eyed Susan and are more banded rather tan a gradient. I'd like to plant more in the future to se if the shape varies, and to fill in the gaps in my patch of flowers. The orange looks great in the Fall! I would take a photo of my blooming one or two but it's raining hard outside.

This is my second time ordering these seeds, they gave me great harvest last season therefore I decided to reorder them! Thank you.
This is a beautiful basil. The leaves have stunning purple veins. Pleasant smell.
AT's reputation for drought tolerance is well deserved. In a part of the garden that was not watered this summer, AT is still going strong while the other varieties have given up. Something to consider if you're looking for a variety that can handle neglect.
These things are SOOO fluffy! And they drop lots of seeds so you can have a nice reseeded sunflower patch of these big cuties, mine only grew to be about 5 ft but that was in poor condition so I can’t wait to see what these guys do in good soil!
So I live in Florida where you typically cannot grow lettuce during the summer, this plant somehow decided to go through ALL OF SUMMER and then decided to cooler wether is when it was gonna bolt.
There were major aphid issues on the one I was growing so I didn’t get to eat much of it but it tasted okay, almost didn’t have a real taste to it to be honest
