Red Giant Mustard is a culinary herb with delicious leaves for salads. Mustard seeds can also be used as a spice or can be ground to make condiments. The Red Giant variety is a slow bolting and disease-resistant type. The plant grows to about 16″ tall with large leaves that have a reddish-purple hue. Seeds sprout in 3 to 4 weeks, eat fresh to add zip to your sandwiches or salads!
This stuff might be the easiest and tastiest vegetable there is. It adds a zing to salad and is a perfect addition to a hamburger
I bought this pack last year for the 2025 season. We'll see how it goes.
Started the seeds indoors for winter and since they are seeds from MIgarder I only planted 2 seeds as I only wanted to grow 2 plants indoors during the winter. Had 100% germination as with all the other seeds I have purchased from MIgarder. Extremely happy with all my seeds. I haven’t grown mustard before so not sure how they taste but the plants are growing well and appear happy. 😀
These plants germinated like crazy and grew up even more quickly! Somehow the evaded death from my lack of watering them-they were in a cloth pot. I am so glad I tried these and grew them because they are a great red addition to my salads as I do not like any type of red lettuces...they all seem to wilt far too quickly once on the plate. Not this mustard! It is a perfect addition to my salads!
The Red Giant mustard lives up to its name. Once I divided the seedlings they took off almost overnight. The greens are hardy, delicious in taste and adds beautiful color to the garden. I live in zone 5 and so far this has been a great mustard option for my area.

I grew only a few seeds, but they came up fine, and I was able to get some delicious, sweet melon! I sprayed it once with a copper fungicide, and I should have done it a second time, but I still go melons. (I have a struggle with fungal problems here). Easy to grow, easy to eat!
This stuff feed my garden all summer. Highly recommend
This was one of my first tomatoes from MIgardener seed and I loved it so much. Very tasty green tomato, and even though it was only in a smallish container, it was one of my best producers! Nice clusters (not quite so big and dense as the photo, for me at least...) and great flavor for eating fresh in the garden. I'm not the best with tomatoes, I don't treat them as well as I should, and I grow in Seattle (8b?) which is finicky weather every year, so I was surprised these did so well! Will definitely grow again. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures saved on the vine, but the little green one in the attached photo is one of them!
Love sales. Time to stock up
Pollinators love this flower. Especially honey bees.
They grew in spring then reseeded themselves for fall.
