Determinate - The Marglobe tomato is a classic heirloom variety known for its exceptional disease resistance and reliable performance. Developed in the early 20th, it was one of the first tomatoes bred for resistance to fusarium and verticillium wilt. Marglobe produces round, smooth, 6-9 ounce deep red fruits with a balanced, rich flavor ideal for slicing, canning, and cooking. The determinate plants are compact, making them suitable for small gardens and containers. With its uniform fruit, early harvest, and sturdy growth, Marglobe remains a favorite among home gardeners and market growers seeking productivity, resilience, and traditional tomato taste.
Seeds germinated very well. The plant grew tall much fast than my other tomato varieties. Still have a couple weeks before they go out. Zone 6b or 7ish. Would have rated higher but haven't actually seen the tomatoes yet.
These plants became the stars of our tomato patch last season. Of the 15 varieties I grew (in the garden, in Grow Boxes, on the ditchbank) the Marglobe's were the best producers all season. The plants were hardy and survived a late June Father's Day heavy frost with just a floating row cover overnight. Yields were great and the flavor was just outstanding. We like our tomatoes sized to fit whole or in quarters when we can them so these were just right.
So far so good. Good germination rate. The seed counts are generous. I will order again. "Under promise, over deliver". 🎉
I tried these for the first time last year. They did so amazing! They were perfect for canning as they were full of meat and not seeds and also tasted amazing when eating fresh.
Loved the output and flavor of the tomatoes. They were easy to grow and had no issues. Lots of medium to small tomatoes that were good for a variety of uses.

We have nice fertile soil in our greenhouse and able to control those pesty little flea beetles that can decimate eggplants foliage. I've been keeping them under control with DE and my eggplants are massive in size, about 3-4 feet tall with 1 foot lower leaves.
The eggplants fruit are developing nicely, nearly doubling in size daily. There are plenty of blossoms too. We're expecting that we won't need to grow more for a few years, we're planning on freeze drying most if them.
I purchased several packs of seeds from MiGardener during the semi annual sale, and they did not disappoint! Nearly 100 percent germination rate on all seeds I've planted. The only thing I haven't been able to germinate is lemon grass, which I'm learning may 1 take a very long time to germinate in general and 2 need bottom heat to help them sprout. Even without being on sale 2 bucks a seed pack for the amount they give (very generous compared to other companies, I might add) is a crazy good deal. If you have been on the fence, I encourage you to give MiGardener seeds a try! Thank you Luke and team, and Happy Gardening to all!
I'm not a seasoned gardener, so I don't necessarily know what's normal or not, but out of all the seeds I planted (got about a dozen different herbs and greens from MIgardener), the fenugreek was the quickest to sprout, had the highest germination rate, and the largest sprouting leaves. I'm pretty excited to watch them grow into beautiful plants.
Gardening for over 40 years. The Trifecta very impressed has all the elements I want in a fertilizer. Next year I will buy the largest amount.
Second squash to produce for me. Picked young and the skin is very thin/easily bruises. Roasted first batch and they were a delicious mild flavor! Very soft but the roasting gave a nice crust on them. 2nd batch mixed in a stir fry and it overcooked very easily and was mushy. I like how prolific this plant is and the mild taste. Just need to make sure not to overcook. Well definitely grow again.
