Determinate: Black Out Roma is a determinate paste variety prized for its dramatic color and rich flavor. The fruits begin with some of the darkest plum-black skins you’ll ever see, then slowly ripen to deep red brushed with golden stripes. Inside, the flesh glows a vibrant crimson, meaty with very few seeds. The flavor is smooth and slightly smoky, with low acidity that makes it perfect for sauces, pastes, and roasting. While this variety ripens later than most, the plants are steady producers, and the harvest is well worth the wait. A true standout for both beauty and taste in the garden.
Most excited to get these started for my spring garden!
I am so excited to grow these this spring! Loving the coloring on these!
I can’t wait to plant them. I grew current tomatoes last year it came very nice, I ate most of them while picking 😋😋 love to grow new veg.
I have no doubt that it’ll be a great quality because MI Gardner handles the best seeds but I haven’t planted it yet. It’s gonna be spring time. I will come back with further reviews. Thank you very much for a great store and doing what you do, Luke.
I order these for my 2026 summer garden and am looking forward totasting these!! The packets look in good shape and arrived in good time! No worries this ordering from this company.
All of my seeds grew from last year. I have been very pleased and look forward to this new order growing this coming spring.
growing a few of these indoors under a light for winter sandwiches. they came up fine still to small to eat so jury is out on taste. growing winter plants also puts moisture in the house and it is very dry this year so bonus.
Amazing seeds, amazing packaging and amazing prices!
Migardener’s lemon balm is super easy to grow. It comes back every year here in Michigan. You can use it fresh or dried. My favorite for iced tea.
I had success last yr so im confident this yr about getting them started(:
