Indeterminate - The Black Krim tomato is a striking heirloom variety known for its rich flavor and unique appearance. Originating from the Black Sea region of Russia, it produces large, dark red to purplish-brown fruits with green shoulders, weighing around 8-12 ounces each. The flavor profile is deeply sweet and slightly salty, making it a favorite among tomato connoisseurs.
Started popping out of the soil this morning! Super fast! Can not wait to see the produce I get from this plant.
Thank you again!
Looking forward to try these beautiful Black KRIMS!
I'm gonna tag you to check with you how your seeds are doing on the other side of the world!
Great germination and the best flavor
Black Krim is a must grow late variety. Its one of the highest standards of flavor in the tomato world. It needs full (all day) sun to get good tomatoes so don't crowd them or put them in shady places. They need pampering or they'll get blossom end rot. I've grown this tomato most years but I only get about 4 or 5 tomatoes before my season is over. Still worth the effort.
I had two plants. Decent production and very good tasting tomatoes. Sadly, they suffered greatly from the increased humidity this year here in central Pennsylvania. We usually get a few weeks of high humidity, but it was closer to two full months this year. When the leftovers from the Hurricane came through, all the extra moisture and humidity finished these plants off. Good while they lasted though.

As described. Good germination.
We have nice fertile soil in our greenhouse and able to control those pesty little flea beetles that can decimate eggplants foliage. I've been keeping them under control with DE and my eggplants are massive in size, about 3-4 feet tall with 1 foot lower leaves.
The eggplants fruit are developing nicely, nearly doubling in size daily. There are plenty of blossoms too. We're expecting that we won't need to grow more for a few years, we're planning on freeze drying most if them.
I purchased several packs of seeds from MiGardener during the semi annual sale, and they did not disappoint! Nearly 100 percent germination rate on all seeds I've planted. The only thing I haven't been able to germinate is lemon grass, which I'm learning may 1 take a very long time to germinate in general and 2 need bottom heat to help them sprout. Even without being on sale 2 bucks a seed pack for the amount they give (very generous compared to other companies, I might add) is a crazy good deal. If you have been on the fence, I encourage you to give MiGardener seeds a try! Thank you Luke and team, and Happy Gardening to all!
I'm not a seasoned gardener, so I don't necessarily know what's normal or not, but out of all the seeds I planted (got about a dozen different herbs and greens from MIgardener), the fenugreek was the quickest to sprout, had the highest germination rate, and the largest sprouting leaves. I'm pretty excited to watch them grow into beautiful plants.
Gardening for over 40 years. The Trifecta very impressed has all the elements I want in a fertilizer. Next year I will buy the largest amount.
