A low crawling plant that can be eaten as a snack! The leaves are juicy, plump and can help with thickening soups. Packed with antioxidants and nutrients. High in Omega 3 fatty acids. The plants leaves can be used in smoothies and juices. This succulent-like plant offers yields year round, is tolerant to heat, drought, cold, and is a perennial as well!
*Caution*: May be poisonous to some kinds of livestock when consumed in excessive amounts.
I haven’t planted this yet as I will wait until early spring, but I am looking forward to grow it as I have every confidence that it will thrive.
I love growing purslane! Its peppery taste is great in a salad or sandwich. The flowers are so pretty, too!
Migardener seeds never disappoint and that's why I always shop from him.
Just figured out it sprouts well in the Fall
The seeds from here are always top quality. I never order seeds anywhere else. These have made a great addition to my salads!
This is an all-star! Armenian cukes have a mild taste, store well in the refrigerator, and are delightfully crunchy. I shared them with many friends this year and each one loved them and decided to grow them next year!
My seeds arrived safely, the order was accurate, and I love how MIGardener keeps their seed packet prices low (without skimping on the seed count!). This company has a great variety of high quality seeds, I always get a great germination percentage. This winter, I'm excited to start my indoor garden of greens and other small veg so I don't have to buy the overpriced (potentially coated in chemicals) produce at the store. Keep up the good work, MIG team! Thank you for being there :-)
I planted these beets last year and they were so successful I ordered more for this year.
All of my seeds grew from last year. I have been very pleased and look forward to this new order growing this coming spring.
growing a few of these indoors under a light for winter sandwiches. they came up fine still to small to eat so jury is out on taste. growing winter plants also puts moisture in the house and it is very dry this year so bonus.
