Serranos are commonly used fresh in salsas, sauces, and pickled preparations, retaining their heat even when cooked. Their thin skin makes them ideal for blending without peeling. I've not had them sprout yet, as I've winter sown them and expect their tini-ness to be visible next spring and I'll plant them then...But, Your seeds are always viable, so I've no doubt they will be great in this instance also.
