Annual2,500-5,000 SHU. The Early Jalapeño Pepper is a great variety for Northern Gardeners. This variety reigns early, dark green to red in color. The peppers grow up to 3 inches, prolific producers. Can be eaten raw, cooked, or pickled! These peppers are a wonderful ingredient to traditional guacamole or can be sautéed and added to fajitas!
I grew these last summer (forgot to save any seeds!). The plants were the biggest I've ever grown and prolific producers. I was able to keep half our neighbor supplied with peppers last summer. Looking forward to more this year!

Started my seeds on 12/31/25. I’ve had almost 100% germination and the onion seedlings are a couple of inches tall at this point (1/9/26). Looking forward to a great harvest!
