AnnualThe French Breakfast Radish is a blunt finger-shaped radish growing to about 3″ long. The roots are red blending to white at the tip. The flesh is crisp and white with a little kick. The short shelf life makes this variety perfect for the home gardener. Plant French Breakfast Radish Seeds very early in the spring in a sunny location as soon as the ground may be cultivated and enriched with organic material. For an extended harvest period, plant at two-week intervals avoiding hot summer temperatures. Press soil firmly over seeds.
I have had grown this type of radish in the past and the germination rate has been very good. In the spring I plan on growing these again. This is my favorite type of radish

This is one of the few radishes that I can actually grow to a radish. I thought I was the only one that couldn’t grow radishes. Then my brother-in-law told me that he had the same problem and he has been gardening for years. I told him about this radish. and he got it and was so pleased that he had radishes for the first time in his garden which grew to full-size.
I'm a container gardener and grow my radishes in 10 gal. fabric pots. I do have difficulty getting many radishes to form the radish and not just leaves and a tap root. The French Breakfast is one variety that does well. In the spring they develop a nice sweet taste with a touch of spiciness/heat. The ones grown in warmer months become hot. This coming season I will be changing my fertilization and hope all my Rad plump up. I know nitrogen will make them grow leaves so I use a bonemeal with a low N content. I may delay adding that until they are more mature.

I have grown Malabar spinach in the past. I decided to buy a new pack of seeds from MiGardener. It grows so wonderfully in my garden. And you can’t go wrong with a good price point of two dollars for a pack of seeds.
I have not planted these yet (it's January) but I have never received any seeds from MIgardener that did not produce good results
