Ever want to be a magician? This sensitive plant will allow you to become the real houdini! A marvel of nature, this delicate perennial native to South and Central America responds to touch by folding its leaves, captivating observers with its unique sensitivity. This reaction is a defense mechanism to deter herbivores. With graceful fern-like foliage and pink powderpuff blooms, it adds a touch of whimsy to any garden. It prefers well-drained soil and thrives in full sun to partial shade.
Cant wait for this plant
Sprouted quickly. It has grown four branches in the first month. Sensitive and Dramatic - it "plays dead" and droops when you tap or brush it... then springs back to life. Eager to see the pink pompom flowers in the future.
Found these wild when I was a kid, and cannot wait to share them with my kids and the other children that visit us at the farmer's market on weekends!
I remember seeing these plants in the greenhouse when I was a child. I can’t wait to grow them myself and share the experience with my own kids.
So excited for these seeds! I remember these from when I was a small child and can't wait to share with my own.

As described. Good germination.
We have nice fertile soil in our greenhouse and able to control those pesty little flea beetles that can decimate eggplants foliage. I've been keeping them under control with DE and my eggplants are massive in size, about 3-4 feet tall with 1 foot lower leaves.
The eggplants fruit are developing nicely, nearly doubling in size daily. There are plenty of blossoms too. We're expecting that we won't need to grow more for a few years, we're planning on freeze drying most if them.
I purchased several packs of seeds from MiGardener during the semi annual sale, and they did not disappoint! Nearly 100 percent germination rate on all seeds I've planted. The only thing I haven't been able to germinate is lemon grass, which I'm learning may 1 take a very long time to germinate in general and 2 need bottom heat to help them sprout. Even without being on sale 2 bucks a seed pack for the amount they give (very generous compared to other companies, I might add) is a crazy good deal. If you have been on the fence, I encourage you to give MiGardener seeds a try! Thank you Luke and team, and Happy Gardening to all!
I'm not a seasoned gardener, so I don't necessarily know what's normal or not, but out of all the seeds I planted (got about a dozen different herbs and greens from MIgardener), the fenugreek was the quickest to sprout, had the highest germination rate, and the largest sprouting leaves. I'm pretty excited to watch them grow into beautiful plants.
Gardening for over 40 years. The Trifecta very impressed has all the elements I want in a fertilizer. Next year I will buy the largest amount.
