Indeterminate - The Beefsteak tomato is a large slicing variety. The fruits are very meaty and have small seed cavities. A great tomato for sauces, plain eating, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and even grilling! Beefsteaks are heavy producers! Excellent source of Vitamins: A, & C and contains B, calcium. Iron, and potassium.
Always produces big beautiful tomatoes.
Great tomato for slicing. Always one variety that I plant.
I haven't grown these yet but I have purchased many seeds from here and they always have a high germination rate!
These mostly did well, although not as well as some other varieties. The San Marzanos did much better where I am. Michigan zone 6.
Unfortunately these beefsteaks had very poor germination for me. I seeded 2-3 seeds per cell and planted multiple varieties of tomatoes in same tray and the MI Beefsteak did very poorly compared to my other varieties. All under humidity dome with heat mat, I’ve never had that issue with beefsteak as they’re one of the easiest tomatoes I’ve dealt with. Pretty disappointing, especially with only 25-30 seeds to begin with. I have 5 year old Bradywine seeds that performed better than these I purchased this year (2025).
I used revive Rex last year with excellent outcomes. I wanted you to make sure I have it on had for this gardening season.
Delicious and prolific.I'll plant this on repeat!
Grew these for the past three years and I will keep growing them for many more. I highly recommend them. Great germination rate. Every onion grew to the size of baseballs and others a bit bigger and they store very well.Best long day onion I have ever grow.
I am very happy with my heirloom seeds. I cannot wait to germinate them.
Started my seeds on 12/31/25. I’ve had almost 100% germination and the onion seedlings are a couple of inches tall at this point (1/9/26). Looking forward to a great harvest!
