AnnualDanish Ballhead cabbage is reliable, bolt and split resistant. Well suited to cool regions. Not recommended for those with hot weather. Heads normally weigh 5-7 pounds, and are tight, making them great for storage. Danish Ballhead is best transplanted in the late summer for the first frost harvest.

This is the first large cabbage I attempted and it did grow very well. It never split and looked beautiful…with the exception that the cabbage moths adored them. This year, I’m growing all my cabbages under netting so avoid the issue and looking forward to a better harvest!

Order arrived on time and as expected. The package has directions that are easy to understand and follow. All of the seeds I planted are now growing and look really healthy. These are like XL cherry tomatoes (1.5-2 inches wide) that taste great and are uniform in size. I will be growing more of this variety next Spring.
Though they are not named Scotch Bonnet, they are definitely as hot and fragrant as a Scotch Bonnet pepper (and I'm happy I bought them to try). I bought more packets recently to be ready for next Spring and to share with my Jamaican family!

The seeds germinated very well. It was my first time ever growing radishes and I was pleased with how easy they were to grow.
This variety of sweet corn is incredibly durable in our warmer southern climate. It has endured hot temps and is even thriving. We look forward to enjoying our early fall harvest soon.
