Midnight Black Turtle bush bean is a productive and resilient heirloom variety known for its rich, dark black beans. These compact, bushy plants produce abundant pods that mature in about 90-100 days. The beans are small, shiny, and packed with flavor, making them ideal for soups, stews, and refried beans. Midnight Black Turtle beans are easy to grow, thriving in well-drained soil with full sun exposure. They are resistant to common bean diseases and pests, ensuring a reliable harvest. This variety is also valued for its excellent storage properties, allowing the dried beans to be kept for long periods without losing quality.
Great customer service. Love buying from MIgardener
I just planted these about 3 weeks ago. They had good germination and the plants look healthy so far.
I'm looking forward to planting these next year!
Midnight Black Turtle Bean (Bush)
All seeds sprouted will see how well they do.
We planted several of your beans and found the pinto bean being our favorite and most used, not that we don't also like the other beans. I had never grown beans before and had no idea of how easy and low maintenance they require. We plan to triple the amount at our next planting.
Most beautiful herbal, medicinal plant, hummingbirds and especially chonky bumble bees absolutely love it… extremely attractive plant .. drought resistant loves full sun.
I planted strawflowers from MIGardener last summer and absolutely loved them. Ordered 6 packs of various colors for this year’s garden. Can’t wait!
These are the most beautiful Dahlias I’ve ever grown. The best part is the surprise of what each bloom will be. I’m lucky to live in coastal Louisiana so I don’t have to dig them up every year. Having them as perennials is a joy!
I have used Trifecta now for a good four seasons. It is worth the investment as I definitely have seen an improvement in my raised bed vegetable gardens and their yield. As far as I'm concerned whatever Luke Marion says is good....then it's good!
