Broad Windsor fava beans are a robust, heirloom variety known for their large, flavorful seeds and sturdy growth. These bushy plants reach about 2-4 feet in height and thrive in cool weather, making them perfect for early spring or fall planting. The pods contain 5-6 large, creamy beans that are ideal for fresh eating, drying, or freezing. Broad Windsor favas are highly nutritious, rich in protein, fiber, and essential vitamins. The plants also improve soil health by fixing nitrogen. Easy to grow and harvest, these fava beans are a favorite among gardeners seeking a productive, versatile, and delicious crop.
MIgardener has never sold a bad seed! These charming beans germinated in time to get planted out before the ground froze so anticipating a healthy harvest in the spring!
Just directed sow will update soon
I love them, reminded me back home when I was a kid, my mother and I eating them on the spot while collecting them from the vine, having the salt shaker in our pocket and also collection the radishes as well

We planted several of your beans and found the pinto bean being our favorite and most used, not that we don't also like the other beans. I had never grown beans before and had no idea of how easy and low maintenance they require. We plan to triple the amount at our next planting.
Most beautiful herbal, medicinal plant, hummingbirds and especially chonky bumble bees absolutely love it… extremely attractive plant .. drought resistant loves full sun.
I planted strawflowers from MIGardener last summer and absolutely loved them. Ordered 6 packs of various colors for this year’s garden. Can’t wait!
These are the most beautiful Dahlias I’ve ever grown. The best part is the surprise of what each bloom will be. I’m lucky to live in coastal Louisiana so I don’t have to dig them up every year. Having them as perennials is a joy!
I have used Trifecta now for a good four seasons. It is worth the investment as I definitely have seen an improvement in my raised bed vegetable gardens and their yield. As far as I'm concerned whatever Luke Marion says is good....then it's good!
