Protect your plants and structures with this UV-treated, black knitted shade cloth available in 6', 12, 20', 32', and 42' widths. This 50 percent shade cloth is popular in areas that experience high heat because it resists breaking down and losing flexibility even under the most extreme rays.
You will want the cloth to cover from hip to hip on your hoop house or cover loosely over the desired area that needs protection. Install clips to secure the shade cloth every 24-36". Shade cloth can also be installed using lock channel and spring wire. Check out this video tutorial on how to add shade cloth to a high tunnel greenhouse.
Here are some quick conversions based on Bootstrap Farmer Greenhouse kits -

I grow these every year and they do very well. The harvest never makes it back into the house. I love to snack on them while I’m in the garden and my kids enjoy them too.
Rose tomatoe. I planted 5 seeds 4 germinated. I already transplanted them.
This basil is insane!! It’s growing so fast and the leaves are as big as the palm of my hand!
Awesome color on these. Beautiful addition to the (majority pink shades) zinnias I usually grow.
I have way more celery than I have room to plant!
