This has become one of my favorite varieties of basil (and I very much enjoy basil!). An excellent germination rate (pretty much 100%), and once established, a very happy plant, indeed. At one point last season (2024), I cut back the basil as it had started to shade out some other plants. I also harvested about half late in the season. Well, cut and come again-there was plenty in the fall to harvest before the frost came. I highly recommend drying and using for herbal tea for the winter with a touch of raw honey. The bees quite enjoyed visiting the flowers once in bloom. :)

The germination rate was amazing. Makes a wonderful tea. Let is go to flower at the end of the season and pollinators love it too.

Great germination on newer packs and a lovely scent! One of my top basils.

Blue Spice Basil is my favorite basil. It has pretty flowers and a wonderful aroma. To me, it smells like bubble gum. I've grown it the last couple years and continue to be very pleased with it.
