AnnualBrassica oleracea var. acephalla. Blue curled scotch kale is a large-leaf kale variety that produces many leaves per plant, dark green in color, and tightly crinkled. The leaves are sweet, tender, and crunchy especially when harvested after exposure to cool frosty weather. It is often seen as a garnish, however; this kale is a superfood! Loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, this variety is perfect for juicing. It is also amazing in smoothies, salads, microgreens, and even kale chips.
Almost 100% strike rate....will see how it does once transplanted, but I'm very happy so far 😁❤️

Winter sowed a few weeks ago in Ohio and they have germinated. Great quality of seeds and I have enough in one packet to do another planting in the fall.

great germination. seedling look great, just waiting for a break in this weird weather we are having in Georgia to plant the mature seedlings. my husband swears he hates kale, i plan to prove him wrong.🙂
Germanated quickly on a heat mat. Off the mat and growing ready to transplant early/mid april. Excited for leeks this autumn
Last year I bought seeds from my local store and I didnt get anything to germinate. This year I purchased all my seeds from MIGardener and I've had to give seedlings away cause nearly all the seeds sprouted!!!

My only complaint is that I was not prepared for how well and fast all of the seeds would grow soI had to pot up earlier than expected! I am very happy with all of the seeds I have purchased from here!
I think I got near perfect germination on these. Cauliflower has always been challenging for me to time it out and know when to harvest. I've been learning that crops that have purple or reds in them (looking at my red lettuce varieties and purple sprouting broccoli) seem to bolt less quickly than their green counterparts in heat.
