Cold hardy and frost tolerant, the scarlet kale is a MIgardener favorite. The plant is packed with nutrients and antioxidants due to its purple color. Great in salads or juiced. This is a big, beautiful plant that grows well in my area (SE AZ). It grew through the winter and I’m looking forward to growing it again.
