I’ve never tried growing this popcorn before. It was 100% germination and I’m quite excited to see how it turns out.

This provided the best tasting, freshest popcorn we've ever had. It was also just such a FUN crop, especially for our kids.

I was always intimidated by corn, never had the room to do sweet corn.
This year, we decided to dive in and experiment with 2 ways of growing.

I grew this over the last summer season. What a delicious popcorn! So much more tasty than store bought kernels.

These are small but the flavor is well worth it.

I decided to grow popcorn and I grew it too close together knowing it may not turn out. However even though I planted 60 plants in about 7 square feet I still had a great harvest. The plants survived getting knocked over by high winds twice and did not take long to grow at all. Planted the first week of March and harvested June 4. Will let them dry for a few weeks now before popping. Zone 9A Grew them in a raised bed filled with compost and trifecta+
