About 4-5 fruits are produced per plant. Bush plants, bright-golden cylindrical fruits, medium-long and slender with an excellent flavor. For best flavor, pick when they are under 10 inches long. Delightful in creamy soups, make fresh “zoodles” by mandolin slicing these and topping with fresh tomatoes, salt, pepper, and drizzle a bit of olive oil! Use as a traditional green zucchini.

Golden zucchini

I just planted them, but I can already see that they are coming up fast and doing well in the NC July heat. I chose this type because it’s supposed to have a more tender and nutty flavor, so we’ll have to see and I’ll come back and make another review at the end of the season. Also, I’m battling SVB on my other zucchinis, so I want to see how resistant this kind is.
