Indeterminate - Bonnie Best tomato is a classic heirloom tomato that has been grown since the early 1900’s. Used primarily for fresh eating, it was originally the staple variety for making ketchup! Makes one of the best homemade tomato soups you will ever have, tomato paste, sauce, and more. It is rich in flavor, acidic for a prolonged canning shelf life, and low on seeds and gel. A perfect tomato for anyone who is looking to produce more of their food from home! Grows remarkably well in northern regions.
I was impressed at how rapidly my seeds were delivered. I have planted and have nearly 100% gemination rate. I will order again and probably earlier in the season because one variety I wanted was already sold out.
Going to plant in my unheated greenhouse hope they are a good choice......stay tuned.🇨🇦
Why did it have to be named "Bonnie" when Bonnie's plants are the competition, the most expensive starts we can buy conveniently from anywhere (Ace Hardware, Lowes, Home Depot) in central Georgia. We do not have many options of places to purchase starts and even the vendors at the Farmers Market have their prices jacked up high.; therefore, I am trying to grow all my plants from seed in 2025.
The tomatoes I bought from you have all sprouted and I am very happy with that. Also the heating mat I bought from you, the replacement one, is working well. Sincerely, Wanda
I love this variety for canning or slicing. Regular fertilizing and I didn’t have any issues.
These are the best shaped tomatoes and the best tasting.

We have nice fertile soil in our greenhouse and able to control those pesty little flea beetles that can decimate eggplants foliage. I've been keeping them under control with DE and my eggplants are massive in size, about 3-4 feet tall with 1 foot lower leaves.
The eggplants fruit are developing nicely, nearly doubling in size daily. There are plenty of blossoms too. We're expecting that we won't need to grow more for a few years, we're planning on freeze drying most if them.
I purchased several packs of seeds from MiGardener during the semi annual sale, and they did not disappoint! Nearly 100 percent germination rate on all seeds I've planted. The only thing I haven't been able to germinate is lemon grass, which I'm learning may 1 take a very long time to germinate in general and 2 need bottom heat to help them sprout. Even without being on sale 2 bucks a seed pack for the amount they give (very generous compared to other companies, I might add) is a crazy good deal. If you have been on the fence, I encourage you to give MiGardener seeds a try! Thank you Luke and team, and Happy Gardening to all!
I'm not a seasoned gardener, so I don't necessarily know what's normal or not, but out of all the seeds I planted (got about a dozen different herbs and greens from MIgardener), the fenugreek was the quickest to sprout, had the highest germination rate, and the largest sprouting leaves. I'm pretty excited to watch them grow into beautiful plants.
Gardening for over 40 years. The Trifecta very impressed has all the elements I want in a fertilizer. Next year I will buy the largest amount.
Second squash to produce for me. Picked young and the skin is very thin/easily bruises. Roasted first batch and they were a delicious mild flavor! Very soft but the roasting gave a nice crust on them. 2nd batch mixed in a stir fry and it overcooked very easily and was mushy. I like how prolific this plant is and the mild taste. Just need to make sure not to overcook. Well definitely grow again.
