Ukrainian Red hardneck garlic is a robust and flavorful variety known for its large, vibrant purple-red cloves. This heirloom garlic thrives in cooler climates and is prized for its strong, spicy flavor, making it a favorite among chefs and home cooks alike. The hardneck stems produce a central flower stalk, or scape, which can also be harvested and used in culinary dishes. Ukrainian Red garlic matures in mid-summer, offering a reliable and abundant harvest. Its excellent storage qualities ensure a supply of fresh, pungent garlic throughout the winter months, making it an essential addition to any garlic lover's garden.
Storage Life: 4-6 months
Cloves per Bulb: Approx. 7-10 cloves
The quality is exceptional. I'm so glad to have found MIgardener.
Very nice. Thank you!
My seed garlic looked healthy and the heads had ample cloves. We will see how it does over the winter!
I received the garlic (Ukrainian Red and Music) in timely manner. Securely packaged, planting instructions and top quality! I’m eager to see it come up in the spring. I’m 100% satisfied!
Great garlic, great price

As described. Good germination.
We have nice fertile soil in our greenhouse and able to control those pesty little flea beetles that can decimate eggplants foliage. I've been keeping them under control with DE and my eggplants are massive in size, about 3-4 feet tall with 1 foot lower leaves.
The eggplants fruit are developing nicely, nearly doubling in size daily. There are plenty of blossoms too. We're expecting that we won't need to grow more for a few years, we're planning on freeze drying most if them.
I purchased several packs of seeds from MiGardener during the semi annual sale, and they did not disappoint! Nearly 100 percent germination rate on all seeds I've planted. The only thing I haven't been able to germinate is lemon grass, which I'm learning may 1 take a very long time to germinate in general and 2 need bottom heat to help them sprout. Even without being on sale 2 bucks a seed pack for the amount they give (very generous compared to other companies, I might add) is a crazy good deal. If you have been on the fence, I encourage you to give MiGardener seeds a try! Thank you Luke and team, and Happy Gardening to all!
I'm not a seasoned gardener, so I don't necessarily know what's normal or not, but out of all the seeds I planted (got about a dozen different herbs and greens from MIgardener), the fenugreek was the quickest to sprout, had the highest germination rate, and the largest sprouting leaves. I'm pretty excited to watch them grow into beautiful plants.
Gardening for over 40 years. The Trifecta very impressed has all the elements I want in a fertilizer. Next year I will buy the largest amount.
