This American Northwestern variety is a large flattened globe with a hard, grey-green rind. The deep yellow flesh is orange, hard, and fiberless. The delicious sweet flavor improves in storage. Plants are tolerant to powdery mildew, and due to the thicker stem, they are not a favorite for the squash vine borer. Makes delicious pumpkin pie.
