We had so many San Marzanos last season that we had trouble using all of them. I know they are sauce/paste tomatoes, but we didn't like the taste/texture as much. They were the most hardy and productive of the 5 varieties I tried, I may do one single plant next season.

I don't start the San Marzano seeds until April 1st. I am anticipating that these will grow well and be "Oh, so tasty". Please ask me again after the growing season.

I was amazed at how many tomatoes these plants produce and at the flavor! They will be in my garden EVERY year! They are perfect for making tomato sauce!

These tomatoes really are the gold standard for sauce. Packed with flavor and very good growth. They do harvest a little later than I would like in my zone 6a but they still performed very well, fully harvested well before first frost. Large harvests from large plants consistently year to year.

All of the seeds grew wonderful mature plants that raised tons of tomatoes!
