Red Toch softneck garlic is a cherished heirloom variety known for its rich flavor and vibrant appearance. Its flavor offers minimal heat and is not as pungent as other garlic varieties. Originating from the village of Tochliavri in Republic of Georgia, this garlic produces medium-sized bulbs with white skins streaked with red and pink hues. Each bulb contains numerous easy-to-peel cloves, making it convenient for culinary use. Red Toch is favored for its robust yet not overpowering taste, making it ideal for a wide range of dishes.

Awesome Garlic

The garlic from MI Gardener is great. I bought and grew some last year and I had a wonderful harvest. I purchased more this year and they all look very nice and have large bulbs.

Amazing

I haven't grown it yet, I'm planting next week but they arrived quickly, look big & plump and I'm excited to plant as I'm sure as with all seeds & garlic I've ordered in the past they will grow beautifully

Looking forward to watching it grow!

Smaller clove variety - prolific in zone 9

This seed garlic is great. No rotten cloves, good skin and it planted well. In the ground for 2 weeks in zone 9 and it's already popping up through the pine shaving mulch.

The cloves are smaller than some other soft neck varieties but I got 8 good cloves per head to plant. These have robust outer layers of protection. Once you get to the center cloves break the bottom plate away rather than breaking the cloves away, that will keep you from cracking the outer layers of the cloves. Even if you're using them for cooking, you should keep the flesh of the cloves protected.
