Winter Vine. Butterneck Squash is a Canadian heirloom that is the close cousin to the butternut squash, with a slimmer neck and unique shape. This Canada crookneck variety is nearly extinct, hard to believe, with its rich creamy texture and sweet, nutty flavor. A favorite for roasting, mashing, or making into soups and pies.
I'm expecting good things from this winter squash as I have grown it before and liked it very much.
MIgardener is my favorite supplier. Their products are fantastic and high quality.
Item as ordered. Highly recommend. Super fast delivery!
We liked this Butterneck squash. It grew well and tasted just like the butternut squashes that we were already familiar with previously. We grew them on a trellis and they looked really cool.
I planted 4 seeds and so far 3 have popped thru the soil. I sure hope I can battle the vine borers successfully this season. Thanks for having quality seeds! God Bless you MI gardener

Very happy with my purchase. I planted 40 seeds and they all germinated! Felt like I ran the lottery. Haven’t had a harvest yet but they are growing well. Already knee high. Very happy with my purchase
This is my second year ordering the bare root strawberry plants, and I will say these are the healthiest plant starts!! I will order again
I loved my Chandler Blueberries. I have had it for a year now. As a beginner blueberry grower, I loved how easily it is to maintain the plant in its healthy state. I live in Zone 7. It lived through its first winter snow, and sprouted back up in Spring, just shows how cold-hardy it can be. It is now slowly blooming. Hopefully in the next few years it will produce me some juicy blueberries!
Not so great raw, but awesome sautéed and in soups! Grows great in warm climate. It takes a while to get started, but once it takes off, it doesn't stop! Very easy for new gardeners ❣️
Once the bare root arrived, I immediately saw a sprout growing from the tip. I was pleasantly surprised it had gone out of dormancy. It is currently growing healthy green foliage outside in part shade and full sun. I see a few grape clusters though unfortunately I have to cut them, so the plant’s roots fully establish.
