I love this variety, very tasty and stringless. We managed to get a few in the freezer last year but they didn't last long. I will be planting this variety again this year.

We got this green bean from MIgardener in a variety pack. They were all wonderful but the Blue Lake was the overall winner with my family members. Classic, delicious and grew very well! I planted it after I'd harvested all the tomatoes I could freeze. They gave us wonderful green beans till the first frost! So eager to grow them again!

This was my favorite bean out of the three I planted. It had a slight floral flavor compared to Royal Burgundy and Top Notch Golden. (The Royals were definitely winners in looks - wow!) Worked well in my Greenstalk planter, too.
