Planted a little late

Planted a little late. The seeds sprouted in a few days and I hope to harvest some squash in the fall.

We love this squash! The color is beautiful and the squash is tasty. All our seeds sprouted and we had vigorous vines that produced multiple squash each. We grew it up a cattle panel trellis and it did great, no support needed for each squash.

On my third year of growing this variety.

They grow great every year and even in pretty poor soil. I grew them in very poor soil previously and they still did great. This year, I have about 6 well developed squashes off of 3 plants, with more on the way. One from last year's harvest is still hanging around. At this point it is 10-11 months old and shows no sign of aging.
