Pimpinella anisum. Native to Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East. Use leaves in salads. Seeds have a strong licorice flavor and are used to flavor applesauce, cakes, confections, and liquors. Grows to about 18 inches tall with finely serrated leaves, topped by umbels of white blossoms. Wonderfully fragrant, a great addition to the pantry.

Will always order seeds from MIGardner!
I appreciate your frankness and honesty, and I know when I buy something from MIGardener, it will be good quality and arrive on time. Thank you for your integrity and for continuing to provide quality products for us to buy.
Haven’t planted it yet. Looking forward to it!
Looking forward to trying to grow this for the first time. I am always impressed with the quality of MIGardener seeds.
Awesome color on these. Beautiful addition to the (majority pink shades) zinnias I usually grow.
I have way more celery than I have room to plant!
Planted my basil as soon as thepackets arrived!
Last year I decided to plant a "tunnel" of sunflowers on the other side of my tall blueberry bushes and these added a colorful variety to the typical yellow! These are now a favorite that will be a "grow again!"
I received a packet of this mix with a previous greenstalk order through MIgardener (best price around!) and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to grow and how delicious it was! I’ve never grown salad greens before and this was the perfect mix. Even after burning out on gardening late in the summer, I will always look forward to growing this salad green mix in the spring. Thanks for introducing me!
