Softneck
1 full head
Silverwhite garlic, a captivating gem in the culinary world, showcases plump bulbs with a stunning silvery-white outer skin, radiating elegance on the plate. As a softneck variety, it lacks the central stalk found in hardneck garlic types, allowing it to be more pliable for braiding and offering a longer shelf life. Despite its delicate appearance, Silverwhite garlic packs a flavorful punch with a mild yet complex taste and subtle sweetness. Chefs and home cooks adore its versatility, infusing soups, sauces, roasts, and more with a harmonious essence. This softneck garlic variety is a cherished addition to any kitchen, elevating dishes with enchanting allure.
Type: Silver Skin
Cloves per Bulb: Approximately 8-12 cloves
Flavor Profile: robust and spicy with a hint of heat, lending depth and flavor complexity to dishes
Storage Life: 9-12 months
Everything arrived nicely labeled and in good shape. Can’t wait to see them grow.
I got all my soft neck garlic from MIgardener - can’t beat the prices & I left it a little bit late & so knew I was going to be paying a little higher for Hardneck when I found it 😳 Quality was good, bought 3 different varieties & only 1 bulb had 2-3 not good bulbs, only reason for the 4*.
I planted the garlic about two weeks ago and they’re already sprouting. I love supporting your business.
Garlic looks nice, plan to use them in my cooking and plant some too.
Don't know yet, next July will tell 😊

Great germination and very prolific.
I grew this in a straw bale garden in 2025 and really enjoyed it. It grew amazingly well and was beautiful, so I purchased more for 2026. Michigan zone 6b.
I have grown these for the last few years and they are hands down my favorite. I like romas and firm tomatoes. These remind me of mini romas. These are less prone to splitting, super easy to harvest and has a super great flavor and very meaty. YUM!
The cloves are large, full and heavy. Of the two cloves I kept (shared 2 with my daughter), 12 were large enough to plant, 1 will be consumed.
Received 9 or 10 large, nice quality cloves of elephant garlic. Packaged nicely. Planted them right up and looking forward to seeing what sprouts next season.
