This mid-season purple stripe garlic has a robust garlic flavor. When raw, it has a sharp bite with hot spice and is known to be one of the hottest garlic. This hardneck is a great variety for northern states with its highly productive harvest with consistently good yields and sizes. Each clove produces about 5-6 cloves per head. The Metechi garlic has a longer storage life of 5-7 months.
