Plant in well-drained, fertile soil with full sun exposure. Sow seeds 1 inch apart and thin seedlings to 3-4 inches to allow for proper root development. Tried these for the first time last season in zone 8b. They did really well, and tasted so good. Will be planting again this season.
I love the Detroit Red. They are best for canning in my opinion.
