Molasses Concentrate + 1% Humic & 2% fulvic Acid

Give your plants an attitude with Sassy Lass! Made with pure blackstrap molasses, 1% humic, and 2% fulvic acid, this concentrate is a potent beneficial microbial booster guaranteed to give you the results you can see.

How it works: Healthy plants start with healthy soil, healthy soil starts with healthy beneficial bacteria. Think of Soil as your stomach. A good gut health is critical for overall health, and these beneficial bacteria can be boosted in numbers to ensure healthy soil. PLEASE NOTE: SASSY LASS IS NOT A FERTILIZER OR SOIL AMENDMENT. Sassy lass will not change the overall structure of the soil, and will not provide nutrition for plants directly. It is simply food to feed the beneficial bacteria and assist them in multiplying to ensure good numbers in your soil which can have massive indirect effects on plants.

What do bacteria do for your plants? These bacteria and fungi associate with plant roots and mine minerals and nutrients for the plants found in the soil, help ward off bad bacteria, assist with drought and heat resistance and reduce stress. The molasses offers a carbohydrate source that assists in the multiplying of bacterial colonies. Combined with humic and fulvic help to stabilize the soil pH, assist with root hair development, and helps with cell division.

How to use it: Apply 2 tablespoons per gallon of water as often as every other week, but as little as once every 2 months depending on need. Drench the soil thoroughly and water it additionally if needed.

Hopeful this works as advertised

I have always been pleased with all MIgardener products so this will hopefully be no different. My only concern is that the granules did not fully dissolve in my watering can and clogged the holes. I even let them soak overnight and they still remained solid and unusable in my watering can. I ended up just sprinkling them dry over the soli and mixing them in. Hopefully that will result in the same expected outcome.

It really does give your soil a boost

When it first came out, I remembered gardeners raving about this product in the Vegetable Gardening- MIGardener Discussion Facebook Group. I decided to try it this year since the soil in my raised bed is heavily used. I have a long growing season. I planted some things out at the end of February I had purchased from our local nurseries. Some of them had been hit with frost damage from a late cold front. They seemed a little sad and stunted. One of my plants had outgrown its pot and looked very sad when I planted it. They are doing great, and I'm starting to get tomatoes! I'm unsure if the Jalapenos will bounce back, but they are flowering. I keep pinching them off so the plant will focus on growing.
