We're in SW Florida and I directly sowed these seeds just over a month ago and we've got lettuce about 3" in diameter already. Had to cover the raised bed with plastic sheeting to keep the frost off during the recent cold snap (28 degrees) and they came through just fine, along with the carrots I planted at the same time from MIgardener. Great seeds and can't wait to harvest!

Last year I decided to plant a "tunnel" of sunflowers on the other side of my tall blueberry bushes and these added a colorful variety to the typical yellow! These are now a favorite that will be a "grow again!"
I received a packet of this mix with a previous greenstalk order through MIgardener (best price around!) and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to grow and how delicious it was! I’ve never grown salad greens before and this was the perfect mix. Even after burning out on gardening late in the summer, I will always look forward to growing this salad green mix in the spring.
