Approximate Seed Count: 250Short Day - This is a Vidalia variety with White flesh, brown skin that is perfectly globed shaped. Pink rot tolerant. This is an early variety of onion and is early maturing for those in short-season climates. It is a popular choice down south to use for sautees, soups, stews, and more! Not too pungent. The flavor is strong when fresh. After a few months of being cured the tears won't flow like a day or two after harvesting.
I was surprised how fast this onion sprouts and every seed! I now have them in a raise garden bed with a raised bed mosquito cover. We just recently had our first frost, and I used a winter cloth over the screen for added protection. That seemed to do wonders in protecting the young plants. We only had a few days under 32 and only for the night hours. Now we are back up to 40's at night or warmer and up to 74 during mid-day. We are in 8A zone. I am looking forward to tasting the mature onions when they are ready.

As a homeschooling project, my seven year old grew this cauliflower, which is his favorite vegetable. He entered it into the county fair and won a first place prize. Easy to grow, and kept covered with a mesh fabric. Purchased the same seeds again, this time trying winter sowing in a raised garden bed with 6ml plastic hooped over top. Starting to head out again even if the outdoor temps are 30-40 during the day and 30-20 at night
I had missed out on the opportunity to buy garlic for fall planting. I happened to hop on the website randomly one morning and see the garlic grab boxes so I immediately purchased! I'm so thankful I did. This is my first year planting garlic in Oklahoma and I cannot wait to harvest next year!
