Homegrown iceberg lettuce will surely taste better than anything you might buy from the store! Tightly bound heads release fresh flavors with a wonderful crunch. This variety is perfect for making wedge salad. Harvest just outer leaves for cut and grow again, or wait for the whole head to ripen and harvest it all at once.
Iceberg Lettuce
I can only give them 3 stars for their fast shipping and good customer service so far. However, I wish I could choose which product to review because one of the items I started had zero germination. I went back to the product and noticed that other customers reported the same issue.
Great seeds
It is coming up so beautifully Germination was beautiful.
This was my first time growing this lettuce. It grew very well in our greenhouse, even throughout the hot summer. We mulched around the base and kept it well watered. Super crunchy once ready and flavorful!
This is an all-star! Armenian cukes have a mild taste, store well in the refrigerator, and are delightfully crunchy. I shared them with many friends this year and each one loved them and decided to grow them next year!
My seeds arrived safely, the order was accurate, and I love how MIGardener keeps their seed packet prices low (without skimping on the seed count!). This company has a great variety of high quality seeds, I always get a great germination percentage. This winter, I'm excited to start my indoor garden of greens and other small veg so I don't have to buy the overpriced (potentially coated in chemicals) produce at the store. Keep up the good work, MIG team! Thank you for being there :-)
I planted these beets last year and they were so successful I ordered more for this year.
All of my seeds grew from last year. I have been very pleased and look forward to this new order growing this coming spring.
growing a few of these indoors under a light for winter sandwiches. they came up fine still to small to eat so jury is out on taste. growing winter plants also puts moisture in the house and it is very dry this year so bonus.
