Charentais Melon

These didn’t turn out like that at all!

I didn’t have great success with germination. Only 2 seeds germinated and they weren’t healthy enough to transplant.

We ordered five packages of 10 seeds each. There were 63 total between the five packages. None of them sprouted. Everything else in the same order did sprout for our fall garden. We just assumed they came from a bad melon. We've never had zero Germination of anything. Lowest was 24% on 4 year old Bush Bean seeds.

However, we did place another order of 10 packages of Charentais Melon seeds. We are determined to make them grow. We've never had a problem with MI Gardener seeds. They are also replacing those five packages 👍👍.

We're going to give it another try. We hear these are the sweetest heirloom melons on Earth.
