1 Year Root
The hardiest and finest quality of the white grapes. Himrod’s flavor is excellent with sweet, juicy fruit that dries well for sweet raisins. First to ripen – a month ahead of Concord. Disease resistant. The vine is vigorous, bearing large loose clusters that ripen early and keep well. A delicious grape, one of the finest of the seedless varieties. The clusters are large but rather loose; berries are medium size, oval, golden amber and sweet.
Grapes are not particular about soil preference and do especially well in clays and loams that have been improved with organic matter.
The vines are allowed to run as they will the first year and the posting or staking is done the second or third year when you will prune heavily, leaving only 2 or 3 buds on the strongest stem. As it grows you’ll keep only the most vigorous sprout to form the main stem. Shallow cultivation and mulching are beneficial.
Spacing: 8-10'
Best in Zones- 5-8
Fruit Color: White
Harvest Time: Late August
Planted the grape stem after soaking the roots over night. Very sturdy stock. Plant is doing great and am looking forward to next year when it will fruit. Will buy from MIGardner again next year to extend my crop.
I could not get it in the ground right away, and then when I did, I didn't soak it like instructed. So, I dug it back out of the ground, soaked it as instructed and then planted it again correctly. I don't think it is going to make it. I may have to try again next year.
I bought 3 and 1did not make it
Got these bare root grapes into some soil and they sprouted right away and already have tons of growth!!! Can’t wait to enjoy some fruit!
The grapes arrived on time and in good condition. We planted them about a month ago and they are doing very well.

Got a grab bag cause the price was great but also thought it would be a great idea to get to try things I’d never personally choose on my own and I’d say this bag achieved that really well too!
This is the most amazing and prolific pole bean I've ever grown! It produced throughout my growing season, with smaller consistent harvests each week and very large harvests at the end of July, August, and September! I felt like a garden fairy princess coming to pick these gorgeous beans that hung down from my trellis like little purple jewels that stood out beautifully from the leaves. Hope to never go another season without these in the garden :)
This is my second time ordering these seeds, they gave me great harvest last season therefore I decided to reorder them! Thank you.
This is a beautiful basil. The leaves have stunning purple veins. Pleasant smell.
AT's reputation for drought tolerance is well deserved. In a part of the garden that was not watered this summer, AT is still going strong while the other varieties have given up. Something to consider if you're looking for a variety that can handle neglect.
