Not only is this plant gorgeous, I think it's going to be a great addition to our diet. We're trying to grow more of our own food, and I plan on using this like we use quinoa--as a replacement for rice. I'm also hoping that it encourages pollinators to our garden. I'm so glad I could find it at MI Gardener, because they're one of the few places I trust for seed.

I love growing these in pots. Unfortunately last year I had a horrible outbreak of grasshoppers which destroyed them completely. But I'm ready for another year of beautiful plants.
