Red Toch garlic is a cherished heirloom variety known for its rich flavor and vibrant appearance. Its flavor offers minimal heat and is not as pungent as other garlic varieties. Originating from the village of Tochliavri in Republic of Georgia, this garlic produces medium-sized bulbs with white skins streaked with red and pink hues. Each bulb contains numerous easy-to-peel cloves, making it convenient for culinary use. Red Toch is favored for its robust yet not overpowering taste, making it ideal for a wide range of dishes.
Type: Artichoke
Cloves per Bulb: Approximately 12-18 cloves
Flavor Profile: mild and sweet
Storage Life: 6-9 months
Red Toch (Softneck) Garlic
Arrived in great condition. No rot, firm, not smelly.
Great garlic!
I ordered garlic bulbs not realizing the type I ordered were not the best option for my climate. The customer service department contacted me and help obtain alternatives for me that were appropriate for my location. Thanks for the great customer service!
They arrived on time. Some cloves were starting mold but overall they were healthy and I am pleased with the purchase. We will see this next year how they turn out.
All of my seeds grew from last year. I have been very pleased and look forward to this new order growing this coming spring.
growing a few of these indoors under a light for winter sandwiches. they came up fine still to small to eat so jury is out on taste. growing winter plants also puts moisture in the house and it is very dry this year so bonus.
Amazing seeds, amazing packaging and amazing prices!
Migardener’s lemon balm is super easy to grow. It comes back every year here in Michigan. You can use it fresh or dried. My favorite for iced tea.
I had success last yr so im confident this yr about getting them started(:
