AnnualThis plant is the most underappreciated salad green known to man. Commonly used as a garnish in restaurants for its beautiful texture, it is also very delicious, nutritious, and adds a texture that can’t be found anywhere else. Frisee is endive but tastes and grows more like lettuce. Adds a refined slightly bitter pop to salads with its compact, densely crumpled leaves.
Looking forward to this. I remember eating endive as a child with my Italian grandmother.

One of my favorite things to grow is spinach, I grow mostly in containers so I like to try and get as much as possible out of my small garden. This variety definitely does that. I get massive leaves and fill up a gallon sized ziplock bag relatively quickly every week when the harvest begins.
Germination went very well, popped up within a few days. Growing well!
